The other day (or should I say night), I was talking to my coworker. She and I were talking purses. She was listing the colors of the purses, and she said they had the purse in mint. I then exclaimed “I love the color mint!” to which she commented “You seem like the kind of person that would like mint.”
Now my coworker is pretty opposite of me. She’s not very girly and not too into makeup and fashion. Her *sarcastic* comment caught me off guard a little. I didn’t realize mint was considered a “girly” color!
The more I’ve thought about this, the more I’ve realized it’s not a “girly” color…but a feminine color. This color is very light, airy and fresh. It gives off a cool and relaxed vibe that pink just can’t pull off. This color is perfect with any feminine pattern, but it also goes great with more masculine patterns (but it still brings femininity to the outfit).
So…ya I AM the type of girl that would like mint!

That skirt is so pretty!
I like how you paired your gingham with turquoise. I've never thought of this combination so I'll have to keep this look in mind once I get a gingham shirt. It will go well with these linen turquoise shorts I have from J.Crew. Great look!
