Today is my last day of the 30×30! I can’t believe I made it all the way through this challenge!
It was a long, amazing journey and I had a ton of fun remixing the same clothes for a whole month! I think I came up with some pretty great outfits, and some new ideas on how to style my clothing!
In honor of my last day of the 30×30 I’m going to answer a bunch of fun questions about my journey AND host ANOTHER J Crew gift card giveaway! The giveaway from last week is still going on (there’s one more day left…so make sure you enter that one as well) and today I’m teaming up with some more fabulous bloggers to bring you another J Crew giveaway! Make sure you enter in the rafflecopter application below!
What was your favorite part of the 30×30 challenge?
I loved trying to think of creative ways to wear these thirty items. The first 15 days were pretty easy because you really didn’t repeat any items. The next 15 days were a lot harder because you had to get very creative, but that’s what I thought was the best part!
What were your favorite looks from the challenge?
I had a ton of favorite looks during this challenge! I loved Day 3 , Day 4, Day 9, Day 17, Day 22, and Day 23
What were your least favorite looks?
I liked all the outfits I came up with, but a couple were a little “blah” to me. I wasn’t obsessed with Day 10, Day 12

, and Day 16

What was the easiest part of the challenge?
The easiest part of the challenge were the first 15 days. I didn’t really have to think about the outfits that I planned each week. They came pretty easy to me because I didn’t feel like I was repeating a ton yet.
The hardest?
Definitely the last half of the challenge. I was having a hard time coming up with new ways to mix and match everything. The other hard part was the fact that I only had 6 pairs of shoes to work with! I mean…that makes life VERY difficult for us fashionistas out there. I’m excited to get to wear the rest of my shoes again!
What would you have decided to do differently if you could do it over?
I wouldn’t have chosen as many fall colors for this challenge. When I started this challenge, I wasn’t completely over my fall wardrobe yet, so I picked a ton of my fall wardrobe to remix. By the end of this challenge, I was SERIOUSLY craving my spring colored clothing. I would also have picked more shoes, and not picked outerwear…I hated that I only had 6 pairs of shoes and I didn’t wear my outerwear nearly enough to make it worth it for this challenge.
Would you do it again?
Totally! Maybe I’ll do it for fall or winter!
What did you learn?
I learned that you don’t need many pieces of clothing to make some seriously amazing outfits! I love to shop, but this challenge helped me to see that I don’t need as many trendy pieces as I need classic pieces. If you have the basics and just a few fun pieces, you’ll have enough to make some great outfits! I also learned that accessories are KEY to making an outfit amazing!
