Wear: 2 Second Sunday- An Easy Outfit for Church

When I am in a rush Sunday mornings (which is…lets be honest…all the time), I usually go for this formula of outfit. My magic formula is:
Pencil Skirt+Sweater=Sunday
It really is very simple, and it makes my morning a lot less chaotic. And it usually ends up creating a look that looks a lot more put together than I feel. Fake it ’til you make it right?!
Today I was feeling I needed a little sparkle in my life, so my BEAUTIFUL gold sparkle heels came out of the closet. I LOVE these shoes. They are probably my favorite pair. And the great thing about them is that they go with pretty much everything.
Glittery heels are definitely a must for all women’s closets!
I also am in love with this houndstooth J crew skirt. Houndstooth is one of the many patterns I consider a neutral, so I paired it with a similar-colored top and added my heels as the “pop” piece.
If you’re not a huge fan of houndstooth, or you aren’t that into patterns, OR you are feeling like you want a little bit more color; my second outfit option is for you!

This maroon skirt is perfect for adding a little bit of color to this neutral outfit. I opted to switch out my statement necklace for some pearls to let the shoes pop a little more. Just remember, outfits are all about balance, so if you have one piece that is meant to be the focus (for my outfit, it was the shoes), then make sure all other pieces won’t outshine it, but still add to the outfit.Outfit details:
