I might be trying to eat as healthy as possible, but sometimes a girl just needs a little chocolate! When I’m hungry, I can be really cranky, so the perfect solution for me is to bake some delicious cupcakes!
So maybe this might be a little secret of mine…but I LOVE to bake. I love making cookies, cakes, cupcakes and everything in between! Cake decorating is a secret passion of mine and {hopefully} I’ll be taking some cake decorating classes soon!
In the mean time, I thought I’d share a delicious cupcake recipe that I’ve been obsessing over lately. It is seriously so yummy and it’s REALLY easy to make! It’s the perfect night-in chocolaty snack that everyone will love!
Lauren’s SNICKERS® Cupcakes:
Ingredients
not pictured: cake mix of your choice. I think Devils Food cake mix works the best, but you could easily do this with any chocolate cake that you love! Heck, you could even try this with red velvet it you want!
SNICKERS® for on top of your cupcakes (I like the almond and peanut butter square versions)
Mini chocolate chips
Chopped peanuts (optional)
Cupcake tins
1/2 cup of butter (1 stick)
1/4 cup caramel sauce (plus some to drizzle on top afterwards)
2 cups powdered sugar
1/8 tsp of Salt
1/8 tsp of Salt
Instructions:
1.Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
2. Mix up your chocolate cake mix as instructed on the box. Place the batter in cupcake tins and fill it almost to the top.
3. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
4. To make the caramel frosting, combine the powdered sugar, caramel, butter and salt. This will make a fairly thin frosting. Let it sit at room temp for about 10 minutes to thicken (or else it will drip off your cupcakes haha!)
5. Once hardened, pipe onto the top of the cupcakes. Place halved SNICKERS® on the center of the cupcake. Place optional chocolate chips and nuts on top. Finish by drizzling caramel onto the cupcake.
See how easy that was! Now try it out for yourself and let me know how much you LOVE them!
Snickers was always my favorite candy bar when I was growing up. I haven't had one in a while, but you've convinced me to buy a pack and try your yummy looking cupcakes. I, too, try to eat healthy most of the time, but a little chocolate is good for the soul.
Oh yum! How did you get the frosting to look so lovely and even?! I would love to make these- pinning! Thanks for sharing such a great and easy recipe. I love all things chocolate and especially a good cupcake! 🙂

Are these for REAL? These look SO good – thanks for making my mouth water 🙂 I didn't realize there were so many things you can do with Snickers aside from just good ol' fashioned eating them straight out of the wrapper! Thanks for this recipe! 🙂
I am seeing a lot of Snickers recipes and I am loving it! Snickers happens to be one of my favorite chocolate bars. I rely on it when I'm really hungry and just need to keep that hunger pang at bay. This cupcake recipe looks delish! Thanks for sharing 🙂
You did a great job with these! I love the Snickers Almond actually, but the peanut butter ones are my ultimate favorite! I never thought to top a cupcake with them, but I totally will in the future! I made snickers PB&J today!
I love snickers chocolate and loving all the new flavours they got going on, love the recipe and the decorating is top notch. Thanks for the recipe I need to try it out this weekend.
Those are really cute! What is it about cupcakes? I never would have thought to use Snickers as a cooking or baking ingredient. I am sure these would be a hit especially at a birthday party. The Snickers contest sounds fun, off to check it out!
Oh wowI would totally make this Snickers recipethat looks
delicious! They almost look too pretty and cute to eat. The drizzle on top
really caps off the overall recipe. I think my nephew would love if I made these
for him.
These SNICKERS are super fun! I love the idea of sneaking in my favorite candybar in super festive cupcakes! #client
This is so cute. I know that my boys would just love these
cupcakes and they seem simple enough to make. I am going to have to surprise
them with these cupcakes one day or possibly make them for our upcoming party.
thanks Victoria! I'm glad you liked the post!
