Today I’m doing something a little different, and kind of fun!
As some of you may know, I LOVE photography. I have been interested in photography ever since I can remember, and I was so lucky to be able to dabble in it a lot more throughout high school and college. Lately I’ve been loving my DSLR camera and I’ve been experimenting with the manual settings a lot more.
Today I thought I’d do more of a lifestyle post for you all, mixed in with some fun photos I took. A few weeks ago, my sisters-in-law and I took my son and my niece to a splash park close to us. It was Everett’s first time at a splash park and he had a lot of fun despite his grumpy face in all the pictures (it was nap time, so he didn’t feel like smiling ha!). We had a lot of fun enjoying the fun afternoon together and getting a little wet!
As far as the photography goes, I switched between my 50mm lens and my 40mm lens. Both lenses give great bookeh, which is why I love them so much. It was also one of those days where it was cloudy one second and sunny the next, so I was switching my aperture a lot. All in all I loved the fun pictures I took, and because I used manual settings on my camera, they turned out so pretty!
Here are the manual settings I used:
Apeture: 2.8-4.5
Shutter Speed: 1/1600
ISO: 800
Enjoy!
