A few months ago, my family and I were able to go on a super fun trip to Orlando, Florida to visit the most magical place on earth…Disney World! This was my second time visiting these parks, but first time for my girls! It was a magical week and a great way to ring in my 31st birthday!
We decided to stay on site during this trip to Disney World. It’s super convenient to stay on their large campus because you have free transportation and can come and go to your room freely from the parks. This is a great option, especially if you have small children with you. We stayed at the Pop Century Resort, which was the perfect place for our family this trip!

I really liked staying at the Pop Century resort for 1 main reason…the Skyliner! This new gondola system is AMAZING and I highly recommend staying at a resort that can use it. We had a ton of fun just riding it back and forth on our off days! It also made it really easy for us to visit Epcot and Hollywood Studios as well as explore the boardwalk!
We decided to only visit 3 out of the 4 parks this trip. Our first day was spent at Magic Kingdom, which was also my birthday! We had a ton of fun going on rides, eating yummy food AND eating lunch inside Cinderella’s Castle! I always love Magic Kingdom because it reminds me of growing up going to Disneyland.

The next park we visited was Animal Kingdom. This park is my FAVORITE because I LOVE the safari ride! We also got to ride the Avatar rides (last time I went, the wait was over 4 hours for these…yuck!) and see a ton of cute animals. The only thing I was sad about was the Lion King show wasn’t running because of Covid. That show makes me cry, so I’m sad I wasn’t able to watch it again!
Our third park day was spent at Hollywood Studios! I had never been to this park, but I was super excited to visit because I wanted to visit Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story land! Both did not disappoint! Galaxy’s edge was amazing and the rides were insanely good! My son got to build his own light saver and joke around with some storm troopers, which was a highlight!

The other 3 off days during our trip were spent swimming at the resort, exploring the other resorts and heading to Disney Springs for some treats! Disney Springs is a ton of fun and my kids loved the giant Disney store and Lego store!
We had a ton of fun on our trip, and it was a lot of fun getting to spend time together as a family. Disney did a fantastic job with Covid restrictions, and we felt super safe the entire time! It’s definitely a great time to go to Disney World because the lines are a lot shorter (totally worth wearing masks all day!). We can’t wait to go back and visit Disney again soon!
