I am SO excited to be sharing my recent travels with you all today! I love discovering new places to visit in my own backyard, and this location did NOT disappoint! Of course, I’m talking about the Chip and Joanna Gains mecca…Magnolia!
I’ve lived in Texas for about 7 years now, and only 1.5 hours away from Waco, TX. I have always wanted to venture down there to visit Magnolia, but I never had before! Finally, the day came where I took that short drive down south to visit the little city of Waco.
My mom and sister were in town, and when they come, we always try and find fun activities to do. I decided we should go to Magnolia on a complete whim, and I’m so glad we went! We drove down on a crisp Wednesday morning and it was the perfect time to go!
Our first stop was the Magnolia Bakery, which was AMAZING! I had a Blueberry Crumble muffin, and I highly recommend it! After trying our yummy treats, we headed into all the shops around the area. I was able to snag some super cute home decor that was perfect for my house! We also spent a lot of time in the big grass area in front of the Silos so all the kids could run and play freely! Magnolia also did a great job keeping everything clean and spaced out for the Covid restrictions!
We ended our day grabbing some hot cocoa from Magnolia Press and some yummy mac & cheese from one of the food trucks on property! It was such a fun day and I highly recommend visiting Magnolia! My advice is to go during the cooler months, because I’m sure you’d get overheated quickly during the summer here!
Have you been to Magnolia? Tell me your favorite things about it!
