This weekend. Oh this weekend. It was one of the best weekends we’ve had in a while people.

As some of you may know, this weekend was General Conference for the LDS church. I love General Conference! It’s a whole weekend of listening to amazing talks, while staying at home and enjoying your family.

Saturday Kyle had to work, so Everett and I spent the day playing with his toys, snuggling, and reading books. It was just a happy day. There was minimal fussing…just happiness. Sunday Kyle didn’t have to work so we went all out! We built a fort right in the middle of our living room, made popcorn and hot chocolate, and had a great day. Everett of course wasn’t too sure about the fort at first…but after his nap he was all about it! It was a fabulous day snuggling and listening to the Apostles and the Prophet. Can I have this weekend on repeat please?!

Now it’s Monday and I feel like I have SO MUCH TO DO! Appointments to schedule, errands to run, blog pictures to take. Can’t I just snap my fingers and have it all done?

The good news is that today we are heading to the Texas State Fair (my first state fair EVER). So even though I have a million tasks to do…at least there is a fun activity waiting for me at the end of the day!
