One of my favorite things to do for game day is to create a spread of finger food.
Wanna know my absolute favorite finger food?!
It is by far fries of all varieties!
And I am in love this this brand that I’ve recently discovered. These Alexia fries are seriously delicious and they are perfect for game time parties! I love to grab a couple different varieties for the party, and my definite favorite are the sweet potato fries and the crinkle cut fries (yum)!
I also love to have different dips for the fries. It just spices things up a bit and it makes eating the fries that much more enjoyable! My favorite dip that I am OBSESSED with is perfect with fries and it’s so easy to make! Today I’m going to teach you how to make this easy dip, so you can share it with all of your family and friends!Easy French Fries Dip
First, you start with about 1/2 cup of mayonnaise. I think it tastes best with regular mayo, but you could always try it with other varieties. I also like to use little measuring bowls for the dip…they are cute and they fit perfectly on platters (and the measure your ingredients…duh!).
Next, add 2 TBS of sweet relish and two spoonfuls of chopped green onions. You can add more or less of these ingredients if you’d like…it’s all up to you! Then stir all these ingredients together inside your measuring bowl.
To add a little more crunch to the dip, I chopped up some baby dill pickles, but this step is totally optional (but it is delicious!). Just fold these into the dip once they are chopped.
Your last step is to take some fresh dill and sprinkle it on top of the dip. I also love to add a couple of bigger pieces for a pretty garnish.
Your finished dip should look like this! See I told you it was easy!!
I love to put the dip in the middle of a platter with a variety of fries to choose from. It looks pretty and it makes it easy for guests to serve themselves (and do the dreaded double dip haha).
What are your favorite game day snacks?
oh wow I could so murder some sweet potato fries, I bought some sweet potatoes recently so I will definitely be making me some fries tonight. I am loving the dip and how easy it is to make, thanks for sharing.
I love Alexia fries! Peapod recently did a special at 2/$5 and I bought one bag of sweet potato and one of the regular potato ones- can't remember the name, but it was a naturally lower fat one with sea salt I think? We loved them both, and will definitely be reordering when our two are finished. Thinking I'll have to try your dip with them soon, too! Thanks so much for sharing!
My husband lived in Belgium for six years before we were married. He just raves about all the different sauces they have available for the French fries there. Serving the different dipping sauces is a fantastic way to dress up an otherwise plain-Jane side dish.
I've never heard of this brand, but that dip looks intriguing!
Yum! This all looks amazing! I love the dip. It looks supurb. I'm a wings gal. I haven't watched a game in years, prekids and we would always go for wings and things (veggies and dip!) I miss those days some times!
Oh my goodness – I could eat that whole platter right now! I love crinkle cut chips [we call them chips here in the UK] – and your dip sounds and looks amazing. I am going to make it this weekend…. But seriously, so hungry now.
These Alexia fries are my absolute favorite right now! I love that they're all-natural and I can actually pronounce all of their ingredients– MAJOR plus! That dill dip both looks and sounds incredible. I bet my husband would LOVE it!
I love Alexia fries! They are one of my favorite to make for
the kids. I never thought to make a dip for them would be a nice change from
the ketchup they go for most the time.
The kids love these fries! My 3 year old would eat every fry in the bag if he could. The only way he wouldn't is if I try to give him that dip lol. He's way too picky. I'd love to try this recipe though. It's on for game day!!!
Love simple dips like this for delicious fries! It's so much fun to create a beautiful dipping tray with the different fries and dips on a tray! #client
Alexia sweet potato fries are some of my favorites! I love to top them with my homemade cinnamon chili and cheese. Or, I'll make Irish nachos with regular fries. Yum!
I absolutely love Alexia!! The Sweet Potato fries are the best!!! I have never tried the other one but they sound healthy and so good as well!! I really love french fries and as much as they aren't great for you, I still eat them. I love Alexia because they're natural and much better for you in comparison to other brands and varieties! Thanks for sharing!
I think that you can never go wrong with fries and these look amazing. I think this actually sounds great for dinner tonight since we are not watching the Big Game. I know who isn't watching the Big Game right? I found that it was no fun when you have three kids you have to keep your eye on the whole time.
