Halloween is almost upon us, and I’m so excited about that! Every year I love picking out Halloween costumes for my family and getting ready to go trick or treating! This year I decided I wanted to do an easy and fun makeup tutorial that’s perfect for any Halloween doll costume. This makeup look takes about 10 minutes to complete and it’s really fun! I hope you enjoy!
Step 1: Foundation and Conceal your Face. The first step in this process is to pat foundation and concealer all over your face. You want your foundation and concealer colors to be pretty similar…we won’t be doing any contouring or highlighting in this look. Also, if you’d like, you can use white face paint to really be authentic.
Step 2: Define your eyes with brown shadow. For this step, we are going to be prepping our lids for the black shadow in the next step. Start out with a lighter brown and buff it into the crease. This can be messy because it’s just for blending purposes. Next, take a darker brown and buff that into the crease.
Step 3: With a stiff blending brush, add black shadow to the crease. For the black shadow to look blended, lightly add it in layers and BLEND. Black shadow can easily look messy, so if it’s looking chunky at all, keep blending with a clean blending brush. After you are done add your favorite pair of fluffy lashes. The bigger lashes, the better!
Step 4: Add your favorite blush onto the apples of your cheeks. You are only going to be adding this blush to the apples and not blending up as much as normal. And make sure you put it on kind of thick for the perfect doll effect.
Step 5: Draw on “heart shaped” lips. This is actually a lot easier than it looks. For this lip look, all you are going to do is draw the shape pictured above. You will also need to over draw your lips a little to add a plump, round look. Fill in your lips with your lip liner and then with your favorite red lipstick.
Step 6: Add doll-like freckles with black liquid eye liner. The last step is to add little dots to your cheeks for some cute doll freckles. This adds a fun touch to the whole look!
