For those that don’t already know, I work in a hospital. I get a lot of questions about how women that love fashion and makeup incorporate that into the hospital setting. It is tricky because you don’t want to be full-out glam while working in this setting, because it’s pretty taboo…but at the same time you still want to look nice. The other issue that health care workers face is that we need our makeup and hair to be long-lasting. Usually someone in a hospital is working an 8-12 hour shift (and sometimes even longer!) and there isn’t much time to touch up. Picking products with longer wear allows us to not have to worry about looking sloppy! The products I am about to show you in this video are very long-wearing and they won’t make you look like you have way too much makeup on.Also, in the video you’ll see me put some metallic copper shadow on as well as coral lipstick. These are things that I like to do to up my makeup look, but most days I stick with matte shadows and/or tinted lipgloss. Lipstick usually doesn’t last a whole 10 hour shift for me, but I like to put it on just for fun. After the lipstick is gone, I go to my gloss or my Smith’s Rosebud Salve (if you’ve never tried this stuff, YOU NEED TO!).
I hope you enjoy my first video!! Let me know in the comments what you would like to see next!!
xoxo
