I’m so excited for this little girl to join our family in just 10 more weeks! We are also in the process of buying a house (as you may know if you follow me on Snapchat), and with that comes some major home decor planning! Even though I won’t have this little girl’s nursery done for quite some time, I still can’t help but dream of what I’d love it to look like! For baby Richardson’s room, I really want it to have a vintage, girly vibe with some modern twists. Floral patterns, gold detailing, exposed wood and a lot of lace are what I have planned, and I’m excited! I don’t want her nursery to feel too baby-ish, because I want her to be able to grow into the decor and have it for a long time, which is why I love the idea of a vintage, floral room. It’s girly, sophisticated, but also still soft and childlike…perfect for a little girl.
As we slowly decorate our house (once we actually purchase one!), I look forward to doing D.I.Y. projects and finding the best deals on stylish home decor! I’ve been planning on having home decor being apart of Dressing Dallas for a long time, and I’m excited to finally be able to incorporate my love for interior design into my website! I hope you enjoy these types of posts, and I look forward to many room reveals in the future! Stay tuned!

Love this! I love that it’s super girly, but a bit edgy. 🙂
