When I saw this dress, I immediately was drawn to it. I love to small checkered pattern, the puff sleeves, and how flowy the skirt is. I knew it would be a mix of comfort and class for my wardrobe! My whole basic goal when I get dressed is to look put together with the most minimal effort possible.
This dress from Anthropologie (it’s sold out now, but I’ve linked a ton of similar ones) had a mean price tag. As most dresses from Anthro do. Instead of waiting for it to go on sale (and possibly missing out on purchasing it) I grabbed it for the full price. Am I glad I did…yes. Is my bank account…no.
The funny part…apparently they were on to something with this dress…because sooooo many of these style of dress popped up everywhere. And there were a ton from my favorite fast fashion store, Shein, and they were only $20. You live and you learn!
*I’m still happy I spent the money for this beauty though. 🙂
